About Core Principles
The Objective: To complement the academic training that youth have undergone and their vocational skills with requisite socio emotional and thinking skills in order to make them ready to meet the world with clarity and confidence.
The Intervention: This intervention is aimed at enabling Socio Emotional Wellbeing and clarity of thought in youth, thereby providing them a foundation for positive engagement and problem solving and critical thinking capabilities. This entails a multi stage approach starting with examining the workings of our own inner being, understanding one’s own self in relationship to the world outside and from there to recognize practices which can bring centeredness and clarity of thought. The objective of this program is to provide avenues to participants so that they can unleash their agency within a framework of a healthy sense of self and society.
The program is delivered both directly and also in partnership with academic institutes, skill building organizations and can be tailored to suit the needs of the target group.

Space of intervention becomes a very key facet for our offerings as we try to design our offerings basis the affordances that are available. For instance, a space at community setting is beyond the bounds of the school structure of time table and ‘completion of syllabus’ and hence can lend itself to a different kind of usage for the same ends.
Likewise, school spaces where children spend higher degree of time and get to interface with multiple teachers and thus the cultural immersion is more expansive as against a community level space. The opportunities for both socio emotional well being and cognitive growth are greater in number in school settings.
